Power electronics is a particular field of engineering that deals with transfer of electric energy from a source to a load using electronics circuits. This category is for sites that provide useful information directly related to the design and analysis of power conversion circuits and topologies, applications of power electronics, control and regulation techniques, as well as active and passive power electronics components (IGBT, MOSFET, thyristors, diodes, transformers, inductors). It is specifically not intended for listing manufacturers and distributors of power supplies and electronic components as well as providers of engineering services, which should instead be listed in the appropriate business category such as: Business/Industries/Manufacturing/Electronics.
