Environmental journals are professional journals geared toward specialist and individuals with interest in the environment. Since the environment involves a variety of areas within various science and engineering disciplines, environmental journals cover topics involving pollution, hazards, treatment, assessment, ecology, and more. Therefore, some environmental journals specialize in one or more areas while others are more general. These specialize journals may be within disciplines such as environmental engineering journals or they may specialize within a specific area of the environment such as water or air quality.
