Thousands of products are manufactured and used by consumers each year. Consumers rely on manufacturers to make safe products. Yet, annually, many products are recalled (withdrawn from the market) or deemed unsafe. Unsafe products can create danger and cause injury or even death. Sites in this category include news issued by government agencies which inform the public about safety alerts, recalls, withdrawals and product labeling changes that may affect the health of consumers.
